Granna's Visit

It was a busy week, and now Granna's gone. I thought I would share a few highlights of the week. Here we are this past Monday on our DC Duck tour. Oh, wait. We forgot the camera. Tuesday, we took a tour of the Capitol. No pictures there either. Hmm. Wednesday we visited the Smithsonian's Natural History museum. There's a theme here. Well, we also rode the metro, saw the new American Indian museum and explored Old Town Alexandria, where George Washington's town house still stands. I wouldn't let her leave without a picture of Aaron with his Granna. Even if they were the only pictures we took.

A Busy Boy

Well, we've moved to Alexandria, VA, and are slowly getting settled in. The D.C. area is quite a change of pace from Blacksburg. It takes some getting used to!

I keep a calendar where I write down Aaron's firsts. He has been slow to develop many of his motor milestones, but here lately, I've been writing multiple entries a day. He still doesn't crawl, but he is taking steps with support, and just recently started scooting where he wants to go. He also stood unsupported twice recently while playing. I can't believe my baby is almost a year old!
